Terms of sale

Who we are. Soft Spot is a home-based bakery in Pickering, Ontario. By placing an order on softspotcookies.com you agree to these terms.

Prices. All prices are in Canadian dollars and are confirmed on the checkout page before you pay. Prices may change between order windows; the price on your confirmation email is the price you pay.

Pre-orders. Orders open for a stated pickup window and close at the posted cut-off (currently 8:00 p.m. the day before pickup). Your order is confirmed when you receive the confirmation email — please check it, including your pickup location, day, and time.

Payment. We accept card and digital wallet payments through Square at checkout, and card/cash in person at pop-ups. Online orders are paid in full at checkout.

Pickup. Orders are for pickup only at the location and time you selected; we don't currently offer delivery. Bring your confirmation email (or the name on the order). See Refunds & Cancellations for late and missed pickups.

Allergens — please read. Our cookies are baked in a home kitchen that handles wheat, milk, egg, soy, sesame, tree nuts, and peanuts. Ingredient and allergen information for each flavour is shown on our FAQ page and on the box label. If you have an allergy, contact us before ordering; we cannot guarantee any product is free from cross-contact.

Handmade variation. Every cookie is portioned and baked by hand; size, colour, and chocolate distribution vary slightly from cookie to cookie and from the photos on this site. That variation is normal and is not a defect.

Mistakes. If we make an error in pricing or availability, we may cancel the affected order and refund you in full, and we'll tell you promptly.

Liability. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Ontario consumer law. Our liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
